space/click to see the game key ive been thinking of making a rhythm game with an aspect ratio similar to scratch. it has gameplay mechanics similar to touhou, infalsus & ongeki featuring a constantly moving lane with 3 notes you hit on your keyboard, along with trace and bumper notes you hit with your mouse (all while using your mouse to stay inside the moving lane). the game focuses on the world of OVERSEER, where different dinners called "Sights" are pulled from different timelines and dimensions from reflections found in ice and water to patrol the world. each Sight has a halo that turns into a personal weapon for their leisure, and the more powerful in morality they are, the bigger or sharper the weapon is. you play as HERO, a Sight pulled from an unknown reflection, fighting and befriending Sights along the way on a journey to meet OVERSEER, the god of the world. the game's story is about finding purpose and establishing bonds. when in gameplay, along with the rhythm game itself, you mainly either fight against an enemy or travel a dangerous area. there are 3 slots to equip different Sights unlocked by meeting and completing their side of the story, turning them into your ally. you can equip 1 main shooter and 2 assist shooters. some parts in the story may require you to have a specific Sight equipped in the party. please let me know what you guys feel about this idea <: ) i do not know how far this will go but i like to pitch my idea out there
