SPACE / CLICK >-------------He's Vain, he's a Pain, it's James! -----------< Built in 1912 for the Caledonian Railway, James was later absorbed by the LMS from 1923 onwards. In 1925, James took a goods train to Vicarstown on the Isle of Sodor. As he went over the bridge and was almost at Vicarstown, his brakes were on fire! James was fitted with wooden brake blocks instead of normal metal ones, him and his crew constantly complained about it to upper management but they never listened. James bolted through the station, almost knocking poor old Lydia right off the rails! James knocked himself right into a field on the outskirts of Vicarstown.
