(TW ahead for mentions of self-death.) Hello, everyone. This does not have my rant layout, because this is genuinely news that I could hardly bare to type. Some of you may know the user, @Mantaa_ray, going most frequently by Manta or Brightney. She is my best friend in real life. I have simply come to say this. Earlier today, Manta attempted to end her own life. She failed in her attempt, and I genuinely could not be happier for that. Manta was never one to share her inner thoughts online, so if you think you weren't talking to her enough to keep her mental health well, just know it's not your fault. Manta is currently in the hospital. I don't know when she will come back. Until she does, she will be fully inactive. She may possibly fully leave this platform, but I'm not sure. I will attempt to visit, and I'll let her know you are all thinking of her. Her repeated absence from school was because of her depression. She refused to get out of bed or contact anyone about her situation. I really hope this never happens again. With this turn of events, I may be on either more or less frequently than usual, depending on how I am affected in the long run. Please avoid talking to me about this topic off of this project. I need to distract myself from the situation. Thank you for reading this. And to Manta, when you finally see this, we all love you, and you mean so much to all of us.
