WIth the invention and widespread adoption of the internet in the late 20th century, NAVE would create the NAVE Hacking Insurgency, or NHI. Their job was to hack and leak files from the new government archives. Today, the NHI is still a major threat to Perfect Standard national security, with some raids happening at random intervals. High Command considered going back to paper records in 2012, however it was decided that instead the cybersecurity of the archives would be greatly improved. However numerous IICA facilities house paper copies of the digital files in case they are deleted/stoled, as well as the archive's servers.
