★ AI MUSIC GENERATOR V1.0 ★ ---------------------------------- • ABOUT THE PROJECT This is a simple AI music generator made entirely in Scratch! It uses a small neural network that learns a melody from training data. Each musical note is converted into a token (number), and the AI learns to predict the next note based on the previous three notes. ---------------------------------- • WHAT DOES THE AI GENERATE? The AI generates a sequence of musical notes, one at a time. It starts with three special starting tokens, predicts the next note, and continues using its own predictions until it reaches an END token. The generated notes are saved in a list and played as music! ---------------------------------- • WHY ONLY 500 ITERATIONS? The training data is very simple, containing only 7 notes and 8 training examples. Because there isn't much to learn, around 500 training iterations is usually enough for the AI to memorize the melody. ---------------------------------- • IMPORTANT NOTE V1.0 is designed to learn and recreate an existing melody, not compose completely original music.
