The Portals Key Chapter 4 The 4 Portal Locks walked through the forest hoping to get rid of the Portal forever. Medusa was the on Leading them. "You know Ive been almost everywhere in this land I can help Navigate" Dark Fire told Medusa. "That would be good" Medusa said. "Theres a better way t cross the desert then burning up" Dark Fire said knowing the direction they were heading. "How?" Medusa asked. "Well does everyone here know how to swim?" Dark Fire asked. 2 of them nodded there heads up and down. "Don't tell me your planning on-" Dark Fire interrupted Medusa "Yeah we are using the ocean" Dark Fire revealed. "How long will it take?" Medusa asked. "About 2 hours of straight swimming but there is lots of rocks that we could use to rest". "Ok good were gona need them" Medusa said as the water came in sight. "Now do you know how to swim?" Dark Fire asked. "Of course I know how to swim" Medusa said. "Ok Lets go" Dark Fire climbed a tree planning on gliding before being forced to swim. Dark Fire jumped off the tree using his wings to glide. Is Wings weren't as good as before they got impaled by tree after the demon. Dark Fire had lost most of the gliding and was quickly in the water. Dark Fire kicked and moved his arms as he swum. "follow me well make it to Perthia after we cross" Dark Fire said. After a while of swimming Dark Fire had climbed up onto one of the rocks. "Ok you can climb onto one of the rocks, to rest" Dark Fire said. They all went onto a separate rock. Dark Fire sat down, leaning on the part of the rock behind him. They decided to stay there to rest for a little to be able to swim longer. They returned to the water after a little. Soon the original 2 hours of swimming left became 30 minutes, after all the breaks. Dark Fire could hear the water splashing on the rocks with rough waves. "We will have to wait till the tides d13" Dark Fire said. They were Lucky they were higher on the rock or else they would be fighting to not drown. Somebody that wasn't Apart of the Portals Locks was swimming through the tide clearly having a hard time fighting it. Soon they reached Dark Fire's Rock. "Here climb onto this rock" Dark Fire said knowing there was room her both of them to rest. "Thanks she climbed the rock and laid down. "The waves are crazy out there" SHe said out of breath. "Why were you even swimming?" Dark Fire asked after she caught her breath."I was bored" She sat up. She didn't look like she came from a village so she was probably a wanderer. "You could Have drowned, the tides are dangerous to swim in" Dark Fire said. "I was swimming with out them and then they came" She said in defence. "Why are you out here in the first place?" She asked. "Just Racing those people over there" Dark Fire Lied, and it seemed she fell for it. She had brown hair and grey eyes. her skin was a light brown color. She was clearly a demon as well, that made Dark Fire tense up. She was examining a d4gg3r she had at the moment. She looked up when Dark Fire tensed up. "Well I guess you found out" She said pointing her D4gg3r at Dark Fire. Dark Fire drew the Portal Sword ready to attack. "Dont worry im just joking, and yes im a demon" she said lowering the d4gg3r. Dark Fire loosened grip on his blade. "Sorry for that, I thought you were gona k1ll me" Dark Fire revealed. "No I won't k1ll im not that type of person " She said letting go of the d4gg3r. Dark Fire realizing that the Demon wasn't a threat let the sword lay at the side of him. "Well Whats your Name, mines Ash" She said making small talk. "Im Dark Fire" Dark Fire held out his hand for a hand shake, that Ash Accepted. " Now, What is that sword right there, it has strange markings?" The Demon asked. "I have No Idea I just found it laying in the forest" Dark Fire lied not trying to give away that he was a Portals Lock. "Its A cool sword, I might have to find the one who made it" She said. "Yeah, I wanna meet who made it to" Dark Fire said. (+)
