It'll either be a recording of this specifically or a refurbished version which would take longer. What I want feedback below Description I plan to use, READ *AFTER* WATCHING and please tell me if you were able to understand the animatic's story to some capacity without it- " As a kid, Cecil longed to fly. Raised by a mother and son dragon duo who treated them more like a pet than a son, they wished for nothing more than to be able to soar alongside them. Long after the two left them, their wish was granted, and now they wish their younger self gave it up. " This is the first time I've successfully made a full animatic and I want to know how well I was able to get the story across in just the visuals FOR THE RECORD: I do NOT want feedback that says I need to change the visuals. I'm done working on this. I want to know how I did with portraying a story with ONLY visuals; feedback that I could keep in mind for future animatics. Mainly looking for what you interpreted it as and what thoughts you might have on how I could've done better. The bit that flips through a bunch of characters is meant to be present Cecil showing their younger self what's to come, I really don't know how easy that is to glean. I'm most unhappy with the "Who's that kid that wakes each night" part, I feel like I could've filled the space better Storyline: Cecil was "adopted" by a mother and son dragon duo after being abandoned in the mountains of Ireland. The mother barely tolerated them only for her son's enjoyment, seeing them more as a pet than a child that needs to be taken care of. For the five years they lived there with them, Cecil began to wish they could fly like the two. They thought they'd emphasize with their want, but they only thought it was funny. Cecil eventually sought out a way to fly, and a non-native vulture caught their eye. Even more surprising, she spoke to them, and promised that if they do her a little favor, they'd eventually get wings of their own. Excited to the point of being obnoxious, Cecil returned to the dragon mother, expecting they'd finally be accepted, but the mother was tired of their loud enthusiasm, and instead attacked them, finally giving up her tolerance of them. As Cecil ran from her, suddenly everything went dark, and when they came to, the mother was dead, her son running away, and blood on their now feathered hands. Years later, in a manic spiral after losing a dear friend, Cecil, now finally winged, wishes that they never took that deal, and imagine killing their younger self for their stupidity that day. The first "dream" sequence is entirely symbolic, pinpointing the point of no return with their new curse; a vision of the future, if you will.
