Some bathroom "humor" involved because certain ppl are like that. And mentioning of murmur because of Grady. lol Keefe leaped to Havenfield on a sunny, warm morning. Foster was already outside, playing with Glitter Butt and her Alicorn babies. The moment Silveny saw Keefe, though, she ushered her kids over to the Panakes. He decided to ignore the fact that Grady was already glaring at Keefe in his neater-than-normal glory. "Keefe!" Foster jogged over to him, typing a surprisingly small amount of times. Her grin was glorious. Her blonde hair had somehow keep itself together from all the alicorn-snuggling. She looked... gorgeous. Keefe smirked, running his hands through his hair. "Hey, Foster. Wanna go on a date so Mr. Scowls stops scowling?" Foster laughed, her face lighting up in the sun. "One day, Grady's gonna k*ll you for this, " she teased. She grabbed Keefe's hand which made his heart flutter. "I'd die happy." Especially if everything goes according to plan... His stupid heart wouldn't stop doing backflips, especially when Foster grinned. "Where to?" "London." - - Keefe knew exactly where they were. Sophie didn't, though, so she stuck close to Keefe as he wore through the street. "Huh. It's sunny. Didn't expect that," Keefe said. Sophie didn't know what to make of that. "You were going to drag me through the rain?!" Keefe threw his head back laughing, like a little kid. "I was going to take you to the hotel I stayed at and turn you into a blanket burrito!" Sophie blushed. "Keefe." "No, really, I'm serious," Keefe insisted. "They have really good room service there." Sophie huffed, still not convinced. But Keefe still took her there. Keefe's hotel was fancier than Sophie remembered. And she had a photographic memory. He took her up an elevator (Sophie had to remind herself that she wasn't the only elf who knew how to operate one) and through several hallways before he reached the door, dug through his pocket, and revealed a keycard witha flourish. Sophie's jaw dropped. "You still have that?!" Keefe grinned. "It was in my bag." "Show-off..." Sophie grumbled. Keefe laughed and unlocked the door, staring in there for a second to long before letting out a breath and stepping in. "You okay?" Sophie asked. Keefe nodded. "Just memories." - - Keefe checked Alvar's old room while Foster explored the TV for shows she wanted to watch. He hadn't expected Alvar to be in there, though. "Dude, you're back?" Alvar asked. Keefe shut the door behind him silently. "Sophie and I are on a date, okay? So keep the door locked and don't make a sound." "What if I need to pee?" Alvar asked, making it sound like an innocent question. "Just hold it until she's asleep, okay?" Alvar saluted. "Yes, commander!" "Shush!" - - "Hey, Foster? Wanna stay overnight?" Keefe asked Sophie, walking in from the hallway. Sophie tugged out an eyelash. "I dunno. Grady might have a heart attack." Keefe laughed. "He'll be Elwin's problem, then." Sophie's frown deepened. "He doesn't need another patient." "Too bad," Keefe said dismissively. "Fine, then. I'll stay," Sophie said. - -
Note: this is the continued story :3 Do not scroll unless u want spoilers. Keefe didn't hesitate to put his arm around Foster's shoulders while they watched British TV. She didn't seem to mind--- either that, or she didn't notice. But she cuddled into him, and every time he thought about it, his heart fluttered. That was when Alvar decided to do something stupid. The bathroom door was right inside the living room. And apparently he thought that Keefe liked watching TV on his own, because he walked right in and made it about two inches away from the door before he was noticed. "Alvar?!" Foster squealed, jumping up from the couch and backing towards the wall. She was also probably preparing her inflicting. Keefe also jumped up. "Alvar, I told you-" Alvar threw his hands up. "Dude! I thought you were joking!" Keefe crossed his arms. "I don't joke about that sort of thing." "Also, can you tell her to chill?" Alvar gestured at Foster. "I didn't exactly expect a hug, but this is a little over the top, you know." "I am not chilling," she hissed. "Keefe, why is Alvar here?!" Keefe sighed. "Long story short, Alvar Fostered it and is a friend now." Something in Foster's posture relaxed, and something stiffened. "How..." "You know how I said I had help?" Keefe asked. "That was Alvar. I found him in a library, and dragged him here so he didn't hurt anyone. And he proved that he was trustworthy." Foster seemed a little more convinced. "You're sure he didn't use you?" "I mean, he didn't k*ll me in my sleep, so..." Alvar smothered a laugh. "As fun as it is to be a third wheel, I really gotta pee." Foster didn't look away from Alvar until he closed the door. "I need to hear the whole story." - - By the time Keefe finished explaining, it was well past lunch, and Sophie was really regretting skipping breakfast. "Can we get food?" she asked. Keefe's face went from serious to apologetic. "Sorry, Foster, the room service here only-" "You have a debit card, remember?" Sophie reminded him. Keefe sighed. "You love me for my wallet, don't you?" Sophie shoved him. "I do not!" "Just a warning, though, before you get your heart set on hamburgers. British food is not American," Keefe warned her. Sophie rolled her eyes. "I know, Keefe." - - "You know, Foster, I didn't realize how quiet home is until I came here," Keefe said absentmindedly. "They're always playing some sort of music in the background." Keefe had taken Foster to a cafe that was maybe a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Keefe liked this one. He'd ordered what he usually got. Foster had wanted some sort of chocolate chip pancake, which made Keefe think of Alvar's weird obsession with the fluffy round bread. "I should have taken you to Italy," Keefe mused. The food there is amazing. More amazing than here." "You should have taken me to San Diego," Foster pointed out. Keefe laughed. "Isn't that the place with all the bad childhood memories?" Keefe was pretty sure he could pick up some annoyance---and with his messed-up empathy, it was probably pretty intense. But before Foster could yell at him, a waitress came over with their food. She smiled like she knew exactly what was happening, and said, "Enjoy your food!" Foster thanked her before Keefe even opened his mouth. And when she remembered what she wanted to talk about started to talk about Alvar some more? Keefe grabbed her hand and said, "How about we talk about ebay after today? I don't want to have to exfoliating why I lied to you guys more than once." He winced at his wording, but it was true. Foster nodded and tried on a smile. Keefe hoped it was a real one.
