Credit goes to David Attenborough and his TV nature program: PLANET EARTH II. For those of you you haven't seen this amazing TV program, in the episode: CITIES, we found out that turtles are led to their habitat, the sea, but they live near cities. The turtles are led to the sea by the bright light of the moon but the bright lights in the city confuse them; and they end they end up walking straight into the city. They are run over by cars, get stuck in drains and lots of other worse things. Also, this means that the adult turtles will never get to raise their darling baby turtles. The number one rule of nature programs is: do NOT get involved in natural events, but after watching and filming the baby turtles escape narrow death, the people filming picked some of the turtles up off of the road and put them into the sea. I think that this is okay to do this because it is not 'just nature' for a turtle to get run over by a car. It is us (as humans.) not sharing the earth and making the world a place for humans only.
