"So, the idea is simple." (quote from Failboat on YouTube) A bit of background: I got bored. I decided I wanted to make a comic. I started brainstorming. I managed to get a decent idea down in one page on Google Docs. Which is impressive, for someone like me. It's a sort of a mash-up between cyberpunk dystopia and high fantasy. Which could be difficult to pull off. But it'll be SO WORTH IT. I don't want to spoil too much here, but the basic premise is that magic is dying, except magic is what holds the world together, so the main character has to stop the antagonist from destroying magic entirely in order to save the world. Sounds generic, I know. But it goes so much deeper, and I don't want to spoil the epic "trailer" comic strip that I'll make as soon as I can get the designs for the characters down. Just wanted to let you guys know I was working on something. I'll reveal the title of the story in its "trailer." I want an epic reveal. The "trailer" will also act as the prologue so I'd advise reading that when it comes out if you're interested. k peace byeee! Also I love how nobody seems to have noticed that I wrote "Never Gonna Give You Up" on the whiteboard :P
I drew everything in here. I came up with the story idea while I was bored. UPDATE: I've got the first saga fully planned out, so I'm starting to draw the prologue/trailer today. As soon as I figure out how to draw a map. UPDATE #2: Decided to split trailer and prologue, because the prologue is far too long and I want the trailer to cover more of the overall premise of the story.
