⚠️WARNING⚠️ DO NOT TRY TO LOOK AT THE STORAGE VARIABLE!!! (This will crash the page) SETUP: Run using TurboWarp or Scratch and turbo mode (Not recommended!) TW link: turbowarp.org/1389133305 Tip: Press "b" to see the amount of bits, "h" to hide This project uses the "STORAGE" variable like a hard disk and saves data (all zeroes because this is just an example, but it's how real drives store data) where every character is a one or zero, then calculates from bits to megabytes. The way this works is if you could look at a storage drive's raw data, you would see it in binary. Every one and zero is a bit, and a megabyte is ~8,000,000,000 bits. So if you save exactly one MB, and look at the variable, it would show about 8 BILLION characters.
I was thinking of trying out making a working OS like some people did ( two examples: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1201938491 and https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1248315967 ) and I thought to start simple by starting with finding out how much storage and RAM mine should have. (Status updates coming soon if I take the next step!)
