The Portals Lock Chapter 8 The Next Day Dark Fire woke up still on the sand. He looked as everyone shifted away. "I know where to go!" Medusa said With a smile of happiness. "Sweet lead us there" Dark Fire said ready to head there. "Ok" she started to walk The rest following her. Dark Fire could still feel the adrenaline from the sharks. Lucky Dark Fire was paying attention to the stuff around him just in case there was danger. With the way stuff was going so far he was surprised nothing happened over the night. Dark Fire could tell something would happen out here, he just knew it. It was day 2 and they already had been attacked twice.that meant they would have to keep fighting until they found the thing that closed the Portal. That's when Dark Fire noticed 2 people. He gripped his sword just in case they were gona attack them. "Beware of them, they might try to k1ll us. "I'm aware especially with the one yesterday" Medusa said. Dark Fire Knew Perthif was nearby, but he didn't trust them because they were warthif. The 2 people walked over to them. Dark Fire tensed up, and it seemed that the rest of them did. "Hello there you must be the Portals Lock's" One of them said in a kind female voice. How did they know who they were?Dark Fire asked himself. "Well we were told to meet you guys here" the other one said in a male voice. "We were told by a spell to find you" He said as they walked closer. "We have The item that will make that sword destroy the portal" The Female said pulling out a black crystal. "Ok follow us but if you try to k1ll us we will make sure we k1ll both of you first" Dark Fire said. "Ok we understand and were not trying to k1ll any of you" She said, both of them walking up to the group. They started to walk heading in the Direction Medusa was leading them. The 2 people were walking behind them Dark Fire decided to make chat with them. "So how long have you been one of the Portals Lock?" he asked. "Probably since we got the rock" Rej said. "So how did you know we whould be here?" Dark Fire asked. "Because someone in my dream told me to meet you there" He answered. That sounds right, Dark Fire thought as the fact that they got told they were told about the portals lock in a dream. "Well do you know what the rock does?" He asked Rej. "All I know it unlocks the path to the thing that k1lls the portal" Rej replied. Of Course the Portal would do that Dark Fire thought.. Dark Fire looked Forward at Medusa" Well I hope you enjoy the journey" He said. the jungle still seamed to go on forever. "Ok we gotta grab some supplies, We forgot to bring some" Medusa said walking into Perthif's village. Dark Fire tensed up as he entered the village. These were people of Warthif, they couldn't be trusted. "Well Hello" One of there Demons said. "Long time no see" Medusa replied. "I see you brought more than yourself" The Demon said. "Yes we have to do something to make sure Carnis's goal can never be achieved by anyone" Medusa said." Understandable, but why are you here do you need our help?" The Perthif Demon replied. "I thought we would stop by to pick up supplies, cause we didn't really leave with anything" Medusa said. "Don't worry we got you covered" The Demon said walking. "Follow us" they said. Medusa and everyone followed Medusa as she followed the Demon. They entered a room with a lot of supplies. Medusa grabbed sacks that were laying on a shelf, before handing one to each person other than the demon. "Now fill it with what we need" Medusa said. Dark Fire filled it with different fruits like mangos and strawberries. Dark Fire knew he could trust those fruits. He didn't put in berries he didn't know just in case it was poison. "Alright were set lets start heading out" Medusa said once everyone grabbed supplies. Medusa exited the shed with the rest of them. "Thanks" Medusa said to the demon. "No problem, if you need something else come back" They said. "Alright lets head out" Medusa started walking. (+)
