This is a character poem! Which is to say I wrote it as my character, it's not about me, and I am fine. The character in question is named Jinx (and yes, apparently he is a better poet than me). He is not related at all to the Arcane character. Jinx is the main character in the story I've been writing for quite a while now. I think I first started building it when I was in elementary school, though when I first came up with Jinx, he was a very minor side character. He has risen through the ranks, and now stands beside Kazimir as my absolute favorite OC. Story progress log (since I talked a lot about this in the last character poem I posted for Jinx): At the time that I'm writing this, the doc where I first began putting Jinx's story to paper is 208 pages long, titled "Penelope." I have 2 spill-page docs; the one I created first is 213 pages long (though a bit of the stuff in there is also in the Penelope doc). My second spill-page doc, which I created because the first one genuinely started taking too long to load, is 50 pages long. I have 45 pages of straight worldbuilding, and it probably only covers about two thirds of what I've built in the world. I also have other docs for specific characters and alternate universes, and they have varying lengths. Last last last thing: I wish I could post more of Jinx and his story, but he is almost entirely not scratch-friendly, and the scratch-friendly parts don't make sense and don't mean anything without the rest. I am no longer very active on Deviant Art because it's a little bit of a dumpster fire (no shade to anyone who uses it; the genuine users are not the problem), though you can still find some of the really old stuff that I posted on there. You can find me on Substack as WanderingTidepool. I haven't posted much of Jinx's story there yet, but I really hope to.
