-Zerak- I walked away from Riju and sat on the dusty street of the town. Lots of people passed me, but only a few even gave me a smile. I took a bite of the volt fruit in my hands and savored the sweet flavor in my mouth. But I couldn't help wanding- Derek....where was he? -Riju- I looked everywhere for Zerak, and finally I gave up and went to Matti's house. She was writing in a diary when I came in, and smiled at me. "Why Chief, come in!" "Thanks Matti. Have you seen Zerak? He disappeared again!" "No...he really doesn't like training does he..." "No." I sighed. "Maybe one day." Suddenly I saw him walk along the street. "Oh, there he is, bye Matti!" I got to Zerak, and he smiled at me. "Hello chief! What would you like me to do?" I stared at him. This wasn't the Zerak I knew!
