Lmk if this is powerplaying, I think it's not, since if he can create billions of enemies, I can kill them, and also Mephiston is just kinda crazy like that. - Duel of the Masters - As Kint attempts to get a strong blow off on him after his underhanded tactic, Sanguinius' instincts allow him to back up as he is blinded, the hammer missing him by an inch. Sanguinius, noticing the invasion of the skies, tells Mephiston to execute the core inversion protocol. - Mephiston's Ire - [Takes place shortly before Sanguinius asks him to execute core inversion protocol] As Mephiston witnesses the skies ripping, he, in all of his psyker might, unleashes a colossal psychic blast from his hands, killing hundreds of millions, possibly even billions of Chaos Cultists, temporarily clearing the skies. He then hears Sanguinius over the vox telling him to execute core inversion protocol, he relays this information to the marines inside of the Arx Angelicum - Core Inversion Protocol - The Marines inside of the Arx Angelicum hear through vox Mephiston ordering them to execute core inversion protocol, all of the lance spires begin to glow a blinding amber colour before a massive shockwave shoots from the Arx Angelicum, the lance spires have now become planetary scale gravitational anchors. As the shockwave ripples from the Arx Angelicum, it creates a quantum repulsor field, and as the shockwave comes into contact with the rip in space and time, the gravitational pulse matches the frequency of the tear and forces it shut. Cultists Deaths : 750,000,000+ (likely billions) Blood Angels Deaths : 519 Black Sin Sons Deaths : All 99 (Kint is still alive)
