Alaska will enact major reforms across the nation. The overall polar bear population in Alaska has been declining over the years. To counteract this, we will nationalize conservation. Polar bears and other endangered species are now protected assets of Alaska. Poaching is no longer a federal crime, it is an act of treason against the state. People convicted of poaching will face much harsher punishments, up to life imprisonment depending on severity. We will also create a specialized branch of our military consisting of rangers to hunt down violent poachers. We create propaganda demonizing those who illegally hunt wild life. Migration rates have been increasing moderately. To take advantage of this, we will expand our job market. We will assign hired migrants to vital sectors based on their profession and past work experience. We will open dozens of new mining sectors and greenhouse networks. We encourage people to specifically join a trade of some kind. Obesity rates have also been increasing slowly. This strains our limited healthcare system and degrades our combat readiness. To change this, we will heavily restrict and tax high-fructose corn syrups along with processed sugars. We urge companies to use natural sweeteners when possible instead of artificial ones. We will also try to import less food, and to fill markets with locally sourced Pacific fish, vegetables, and other meat. We make physical fitness programs mandatory across all schools. With the new jobs provided, employment will steadily rise. In previous years we banned residential corporate ownership and made rent controlled by the state. This will lower housing costs greatly and will hopefully reduce homelessness. We are maximizing extraction of fossil fuels, timber, and zinc. We are rapidly trading to any nation in Asia or North America that will accept it.
