The Portals Lock Chapter 9 "And were at the first place we need to go to" Medusa said stopping at a staircase that goes into the ground. Dark Fire observed the Black Markings on them, they definitely were the Portals. The Stairs had the same markings on his sword. Medusa started to go down the stair case. Dark Fire drew his sword before following. Soon after they entered Darkness consumed them as they walked lower down the stairs. Dark Fire didn't know how long these stairs would go down, but they were now walking blind. Soon they came to a stop at a wall that swung open when Medusa walked straight into it. In Front of them was a hallway that had a strange glow on the walls. Soon they would be able to defeat the Portal and head home. Dark Fire followed Medusa as she walked into the hallway. Looking back Dark Fire noticed the 4 following behind him. Dark Fire turned back in front of him to were Medusa was walking. The glow seamed to slowly pulse as they walked. something eerie covered the hall. After walking they entered a round large room. "This reminds me of the Base" Medusa said. The ground carried the symbol on his sword like a drain would. In Fact it was a drain. In the center of the room, a stage like structure stood. On the structure held 2 giant statues that looked like knights holding spears. One was crystal white the other was obsidian black. Suddenly the Door slammed behind them. everyone but Medusa and Dark Fire Panicked, running to the door. Medusa was calmly walking to the stage, were the 2 statues looked like they were skrining. In Fact they Were shrinking, they stopped when they we human size. That's when there eyes Started to glow, the same glow from the hallway. "Hello there" said a deep voice, that seemed to have no emotion. "I know what you want and I will give it to you" It told Medusa. "But you Must give us something in return" The Knight said, Dark Fire not knowing witch one was talking. "Yes I know, thats why we are here" Medusa said. "Now your choses of the return are" The Knights voice spoke. "One, Give up one of the lives of the ones who have entered this room" Dark Fire flinched at the option, definitely something of the Portal. "Or something terrible happens outside of the room" both of the Knights turned to face Medusa. "But that doesn't Mean It will happen to you" The Knight added. "Now Make your choice" they finished. "If I say a answer am I allowed to change my answer?" Medusa asked the Knights. "No you are not, the first thing you chose will happen" The Knights said. 'I dont want both of them But I must chose one" Medusa said clearly talking to herself. "Yes" The Knights said clearly not knowing the difference between the a question and someone talking to them self. "Ok let me thing, Its kinda hard because you gave us hard options" Medusa said. The Knights did not respond and were clearly waiting for Medusa to answer. After a while of thinking Medusa looked the White Knight in its eyes. Dark Fire wondered what Medusa was gona choose. "Before I ask what are your names?" Medusa asked. "I am White Knight" The White knight said in the deep emotionless voice. "I am Black Knight" The Black one said in the same voice. Dark Fire Looked at them, They both sound the same, how would you know who was talking? Dark Fire thought. "White Knight, Black Knight, My decision is" Medusa spoke. "I will chose to, Make the Terrible thing Happen" Medusa said. Lucky they didn't have to k1ll one of them. "Ok you have chosen, now you may claim what you came for " Both Knights rose a few inches off the ground before gliding off the Center. "Now get off, so the thing you came for can come" One of the Knights said. Medusa walked down the stairs and stopped at the bottom. "It is coming" The emotionless voice announced. Suddenly a dark Aura came from the center. Dark Fire watched as it continued to grow. Dark Fire wanted to know what the terrible thing was. Dark Fire looked as the arua became visible, it looked like smoke rising from a fire, black smoke. Soon It Started to fade. (+)
