Previously, we had managed to take on the Marshall Islands. However, that was only the first step in the scourge of the 7 seas. The KSOBB is focused on taking control over a large part of the Pacific, and we have only been getting stronger everyday. The Federated States of Micronesia is our second target. Preparations We previously left 20k infantry, 300 KAAs, and 10 Corvette Skyboats (alongside 300,000 transport boats and 1,500 Kraborgs) active, allowing us to directly re-establish a supply line. Eniwetok acts as our main supplier; 10 additional KAAs and 15 Skyboats are deployed in Bikini Atoll as reserves for the fight; 50 more Skyboats to go to Eniwetok. Compared to Marshall Islands, FSM has much more population. We don't know for sure, but Bottomese officials calculate 85,000 currently, as it has seen huge emigration in the 2020s. Plus, since its military relied on COFA, we believe its main way to attack will be its police officers (500 in 2026), civilian unrest and strongholds like Nan Madol, Sokehs Ridge, and some deep rainforests. Since FSM is made up of more than 600 islands, we plan to take over the main island groups first and later on annex all of them in a treaty, while not giving urbanized centers time to prepare for a counterattack and trying to integrate the population right away. First wave We deploy 30 Corvette Skyboats and 50 transport boats, to try and blockade the FSM's 4 main trade ports in Pohnpei, Chuuk, Yap and Kosrae, where we plan for our anchovies to loot cargo ships and our Skyboats provide strong defense. Loot goes to a storage in Ujelang. This cuts off maritime trade to major cities and lets our units self-supply. With the help of our transport boats, we take 4k infantry and separate them to try and take over many islands simultaneously. We start by sending 800 infantry to try and take control of the Kosrae State, including Lelu Island and its capital, Tofol. 30 KAAs go to assist. It is a relatively small state (size and population-wise). 1.5k then are tasked with going to Pohnpei State, and taking control of islands such as Pingelap, Mwoakilloa Atoll, or Pakin Atoll. This can help us surround the important city of Palikir. 60 KAAs go to assist. 1.2k infantry is sent to Chuuk State, trying to capture the Faichuk district and Mortlock Islands. 50 KAAs assist. The remaining 500, we send them in unarmed (although they themselves are armed) transport rapid Skyboats fueled with kelp to Yap State. The distance between Ujelang and Yap State is large, so we actively try to establish checkpoints and supply lines between islands (Oroluk, Murilo, Pikelot, Gaferut, Fais) to eventually get to Ulithi. This travel is quite a challenging part, since accounting for travel time as well as fuel restock, island hopping and other things, it could take more than a week. When we get to Ulithi, we'd try to seize its Naval Base while not picking fights with the local, small, mostly elderly population. We'd station there for a few days before descending onto Colonia, Ngulu and Gagil Tamil. 50 KAAs assist with the journey. (When we say something-k infantry, we mean this group of infantry will be divided even further to handle more islands). Our main tactic while taking over islands would be communication. Although our anchovies will storm beaches and forests, upon meeting with locals, we'd would promote our war cause, promising a better economic future. The FSM trade profile states that it is in a chronic trade deficit. Our GDP is approximately 246 times higher as well, so it'd be an immense increase in per capita for each citizen's living standards. We'd show this in hopes that we gain local support and further avoid the forming of guerillas. We'd also offer police officials we encounter enlistment into the Police division of the Krusty Workforce, pay in Shells (which are currently double the value of USD), small pensions from the Shell Service and some Krusty Krab coupons for Krabby Patties 10% off. If they accept, they are escorted by transport boats and go to Rongelap, where they are kept, trained and integrated before being transported back to FSM when the war ends. Some can also choose to aid in the war directly. However, if any aggression or lethal unrest is shown, fighting will be authorized for infantry and KAAs. (Continuation in notes and credits)
For counterinsurgency purposes, we'd send Kraborgs to seize and hold important fortifications such as Nan Madol (Pohnpei), Japanese Artillery Road and Pohndolap Area, Japanese Army Headquarters in Chuuk, Sokehs Ridge, Spanish Fort (Colonia), where a designated amount of Kraborgs and infanty stay to hold positions. We'd also deploy a few troops (100ish total) to form guerilla squads of 10 anchovies assisted by controlled Kraborgs inside rainforests to ambush any enemy seen armed. We have classified these areas as high priority.
