Q: What type of game is this? A: It is a skill-based party puzzle game that makes risk-management crucial. Your Minigame placement is also crucial. Controls: Pushing & Pulling (Number 1): AD/GJ/<>/L' Platform Hop (Number 2): AD/GJ/<>/L' Shark Escape (Number 3): WASD/YGHJ/^<>v/PL;' (aka all controls) Sudden Death (Number 4): WASD/YGHJ/^<>v/PL;' (aka all controls) - down to punch, up to release Bird Villagers (Number 5): WAD/YGJ/^<>/PL' Bowser Battle (Number 6): WAD/YGJ/^<>/PL' Swerve Stars (Number 7): WAD/YGJ/^<>/PL' P1: WASD P2: YGHJ P3: ^<v> P4: PL' Other: Space key to pause (nonfunctional on Bird Villagers), hold T upon startup to time your game or hold V upon startup to load a turn-based game without any items. Minigame Instructions explained in the game. Items and their chances of pulling from the pool: Dart (27%): Steals 20% from a foe. Boots (24%): Doubles your speed. Weight (19%): Halves any foe's speed. Phone (Rare, 11%): Calls Sonic to steal 10% from all foes or Knuckles to steal a large complex percentage (around 35%) from a random player. (It's random who you call.) Donut (Very Rare, 9%): Freezes a foe. Wizard Taco (Ultra Rare, 5%): Halves all foes' speed. Gift (Ultra Rare, 3%): Gives you M1000. Best use is in times of need, where you are under M500. Stereo (Legendary, 2%): Halves all foes' speed and makes them lose 25%. You don't steal the money they drop. Drum (Mythic, 1%): Freezes all foes and makes them lose 25%. You don't steal the money they drop. These cannot be used in timed games! You only get one item for being 1st place and can hold up to 3. Item shops are here! Pico's shop is on Go, and Giga's shop is on the pink space. Space to take a turn. Objective: Be the first to achieve a set objective while moving around a board depending on your rank! Each Player begins with M1000. The results of the Minigame move your pawn a certain number of spaces; 1st gives your choice of 4 or 5 spaces. 2nd gives 3 spaces. 3rd gives 2 spaces. 4th gives 1 space. Ties will randomize the ranks. What the spaces do: Blue: Adds M50 * board (board-dependent) to your total. Red: Subtracts 25% (gaining with each board number) or M50 * board (random/board-dependent) from your total. Yellow: Makes you gain 20%. White (Go space): Adds M500 * board to your total. Light Blue (Tails' Bank): Makes you pay 5% tax if you have M100 or more. Whoever stops here wins it all. Tan (Crabbi's Bank): Makes you get 10% tax if you have M100 or more. Whoever stops here must repay it all. If there are multiple of these, the total is contributed to by all tan spaces. You do not get a bonus for passing Go! If you go bankrupt (extremely rare), you are out of the game. You cannot play but nor move, and will be replaced by a hard bot.
Please let me know if you see any bugs/glitches other than the known ones! IF YOU LOSE IN CHALLENGE MODE, THE GAME STOPS. THIS GAME IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL PARTY GAME! SEE THE INTRUCTIONS OR THE IN-GAME TEACHER FOR WHY THAT IS! Keep in mind, practicing a Minigame does not work in timed games. Alpha 2 Changes: Randomized the board spaces. The game is currently set in English. If you need/want to change it, please answer a board and then say yes and input your language! Just know that it will take up to 7 minutes to load. If you click Show Mode while it's loading, the game will not load and therefore will have no dialogue. Only items are only in English. IF YOU STACK ITEMS, THE ONE THAT WAS USED LAST TAKES PRIORITY. Boards: 1. Grasslands 2. Beachside 3. Space 4. Volcano 5. The Amazon Turbowarp recommended at https://turbowarp.org/1389704862. It heavily uses the translation feature in loading the game. NOTE: CHANGING THE BOT DIFFICULTY DOES NOT AFFECT THEIR PERFORMANCE IN PLATFORM HOP OR SWERVE STARS. Ages 7+ Players: 4 RAM: ~1 GB - Previous versions were inaccurate. Bonus values are all M1000. Known Bug Explanation Muted Winning Music: This is caused by someone going bankrupt on the final turn. Double Weights: This is caused by cloning. It doesn't actually affect you or that space. IGNORE ITEMS 8-14 OF THE STAT MENU. THOSE ARE THERE BY A BUG. You can also opt out of item shops! Answer nothing to do so. Save Codes: Copy/Pasting recommended! The variable does not work unless every player has over M1000, so if any player stops with less than that, please look at how to save and put zeroes where they need to be in your code. Please, go inside the project and find them if you need to! Why is Sudden Death not translated? I don't know why, but Scratch doesn't like my description of that Minigame. Want to late leave? No problem! You'll just have a hard bot take your place. Have you gone bankrupt? No big deal! Your spot will be replaced by a hard bot. Why isn't Knuckles taking anything from his target? The reason for this is that his target has M50 or less. Are the variables not tracking in Turbowarp? If so, hit the pause button, then resume immediately after! Tags: #SkillGame #BoardGame #Party
