press the up arrow or the "convert new link" button, paste in your link, press the purple checkmark, and voila! works with both web and mobile links, and works on both mobile and pc, I think. all the links you entered get deleted once you click the flag again or refresh. Also, detailed tutorial below. VVV DETAILED TUTORIAL: 1.) PRESS THE UP ARROW, OR CLICK THE "CONVERT NEW LINK" BUTTON. 2.) PASTE IN YOUR LINK. make sure the format of your link looks like this: WEB VERSION: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEOID or MOBILE VERSION: https://youtu.be/VIDEOID If the link doesn't match the format, you will get an error. Note that the VIDEO ID is always a bunch of random characters (letters and numbers), and that the VIDEO ID is 11 characters long. 3.) CHECK FOR ANY EXTRA THINGS ON THE LINK. Your link may have more things at the end, which may be because you copied it from a playlist, or it may be because there are data trackers part of the link, which store data for various reasons. But with how this converter works, it doesn't need all that extra stuff, just what I listed in the two different formats earlier. The extra stuff is usually at the end of the link, so you can easily delete that part of the link. 4.) SEND!!!!!!!! Just click that purple check mark, and your YouTube link will be transformed into a Scratch Discussion link in the box on the right! There is no waiting for this part, it does it instantly, and ready for you to copy and paste into a browser! MULTIPLE ENTRIES: If you want to convert another link, just press the up arrow, or press the "Convert Another" button. TROUBLESHOOTING: 1: INVALID FORMAT! If you got this error message, try again! This may because there might be typos in your link, accidentally deleted parts of your link, or done it incorrectly! 2: LINK NOT WORKING! This is an uncommon error that happens when your entry is either 43 characters long, or 28 characters long. The code thinks that your entry is a normal YouTube link, when in reality, there may be some link typos, not a YouTube link, or you typed complete gibberish into the text box. If you want your link to work, closely follow the tutorial above, and try again.
bug fixes: fixed a bug where links made after the first link are just copies of the first link. fixed a bug where links made after the first link have no video ID and don't work.
