Wanted to post something for Mixus before i'd go. Click to see their stats! Random adventurer’s takes on the Zombie: “Haha, what an idiot! It's eating that rock thing!” - Weird stupid blonde human that promptly tried to eat a Cobble 5 minutes ago Zombies lack intelligence for sophisticated language and tool use, although differing species of zombies will have differing levels of intelligence. The ones on Peforn island have weak memories, little-to no pattern-recognition skills, and have no recorded cases of tool modification. However, their human instincts make them lob rocks or sticks at enemies. On occasion, a zombie can either be born with enough magical talent to use magic without training, similar to humans, but also can absorb powerful magic in order to gain enough magical talent. There have been experiments in the past to force full souleeches on zombies to force magical potential onto zombies, but it ended up in the zombies getting crippled in a best-case scenario. When a zombie does have great magical potential, their famed spell is brain-shock: a weakened and simplified version of the spell that turned them into zombies. Getting hit by brain-shock gives the enemy intense headaches and loss of depth perception, making it hard to aim or attack even with a melee weapon. Most of the time, though, their attacks are grabbing, then biting, or throwing objects at what they see as threats. They have a liking towards meat. Especially human, which is mostly where the myths of biting infection came from, but they will eat fruits and shrubbery most of the time. They are usually blind in one eye, and contrary to their large ears, have very little hearing. Their main sense that is retained from their previous humanity is their smell, which is quite imprecise. A zombie will very rarely aim for the vital points. To sleep, they will burrow into the ground to rest, typically in graves, and often freightingly bursting out of the ground when they sense a monster or a human walk on their grounds. They can be controlled to be minions by using mind magic easily, and it’s very typical for zombies to make up the bulk of henchmen and lackeys of gangs and powerful wizards.
