It's a new year, and it's time to really ask: What are we living for? You've probably thought about it while you were in bed, or daydreaming. But this will change your perspective entirely. There's a theory. Here's how it works: We are born. We go to school. We get degrees. We go to college. We get a job. We get married. We have kids. We die. Although it's hard to admit, I just mapped out the entire future of our lives. (Or, we just die earlier somewhere along the path.) But the theory suggests something else. After you die, where do you go? Religion suggests that you go to heaven or hell. Science suggests that you deteriorate and animals eat you. Your eyes suggest that you go to a cemetery. Disney suggests you become a supernatural character that haunts whoever killed you. Social Media suggests that you become a figure with closed eyes and hands crossed over your chest while a mournful song plays. But think: What if you were the only person really existing in the world? What if everyone around you was just- made to manipulate you? What if your parents, siblings: were all fake, just to use you and manipulate you? After you die, where do you really go? What does it feel like? What if you were just playing a game? What if a board of creatures far away are testing our abilities? Why do we follow such a similar path/routine every day? Why do we have what we have? What if we are all just tests, in different dimensions? What if I am fake? What if I am just a piece in this game? What if everything- the 'world' we know, the internet, the TV, the radio- all used to manipulate you as a player of a game? At this point, you should ask the question: What is life? What are we living for? Life is just a game. __________________________________ What do you think? Comment your opinion __________________________________ #DebateTopics #DT #ThinkAboutIt
