Celestialruby didn't remember much after Riverrunner came back to his senses. Other than him fainting straight into the snow, the feeling of being dragged by his scruff, his neck and shoulder complaining profusely all the way but being too weak and out of it to do anything. And finally. The exclamations of horror and surprise when he was finally in camp. He was quickly whisked away by the clans healers but he did see someone. Someone who he cared about deeply. Looking at him with horrified blue eyes. It was only a glimpse but he did see it. And it hurt his heart to see such a pained expression on the one he loved so much knowing just how much she'd lost over the moons. How much they'd both lost. Then it was black. Celestialruby gave an incoherent mumble as he woke up. He was in a dry, warm moss nest, the right side seemingly reinforced with feathers or...something to make him more comfortable. His right shoulder and neck felt...fuzzy. He didn't know how to explain it. It wasn't numb, but it didn't hurt either. He forced his eyes open with a small whine blinking to get used to the cave. He was in a nice little corner of the den and the right side of his nest was indeed reinforced with more moss and feathers. He slowly brought his left paw up to dab at the cobwebs covering his neck before another paw stopped him. He looked at the cat it belonged to. Thundersong. His wonderful Thundersong. She looked like she'd been crying but her blue eyes were filled with relief. "Zap...?" He mumbled hoarsely. His voice sounded like it didn't wanna work right. She smiled despite herself. "Hey Cel. How are you feeling?" She asked gently. He hummed in drowsy concentration. "Tired...my neck and shoulder feel fuzzy..." He mumbled shifting in the nest so he was closer to her. His eyes drifted down to her stomach which was starting to grow in size slowly. He put his left paw on her side gently. He heard her chuckle. "The kits are fine Celest. Don't worry." She reassured with a gentle mew as he shifted in the nest again so he was leaning into the comfortable right side but trying to keep any unwanted pressure off his shoulder. "Sorry...for scaring you..." He mumbled again lightly blinking up at her to stare into her blue eyes. "I know." She sighed. "Your not allowed to go on walks at night anymore." She mewed seriously like a mother scolding a kit. He snorted. "Fair..." He yawned. He was still tired. He'd probably been given a fairly large dose of poppy seeds for the pain. "Go to sleep Cel. I'll be right here." She whispered gently as he smiled and let himself fall into a comfortable darkness once again.

I also do not know the exact timeline that Thundersong would start expecting but I think it would be around this time if their litter opens soon. If Banjo says otherwise I'll remove any mention of her expecting at this time.
