After Isaiah Gates tragically died in 1968, a new band took over the former position Gates used to hold, that being the Broken Spears of Scobie, Westhills. They ended up getting their song, the Lion Sleeps Tonight, number 1 in Emraldia in 1968, and in Snivy and Emraldia in 1969. Three out of five members have since died, but only two remain from the 1968 roster. It was later resung in 1981 by Joseph Wolfe (1942-2018), and Samuel Wells (1954-) Members: Lead singer: Clyde Warren (yellow, 1931-2006) Drums: Billy Dunn (blue, not seen, 1940-) Bassist: Dwight Norris (red, 1936-2026) Guitar: Anderson Brady (green, 1943-) Producer: Peter Wallace (white, not seen, 1925-1984)
