"My incredibly conflicted feelings on my followers age margin" Okay so let me start this with a disclaimer rn that I really do appreciate all the support from ALL of my weirdos, no matter what <33 I just have some thoughts on certain things that i'm gonna talk about here bc I feel like I need to talk about it. Also let me say that all of this is kind of my own fault for being primarily on a CHILDREN'S coding site, but still... It's come to my attention that a MASSIVE amount of my followers, maybe even the majority, Are little kids. Now that's like.. that's fine I don't have a problem with it. But my target audience is really people my age, like... teenagers. Not... elementary schoolers.. but again, it's not a huge problem, it just kind of bothers me a little bit that half of my fanbase is really young and like... my content is NOT youth based like... at all... My content is ABSOLUTELY intended for teens, again, people MY age. Obviously I don't want all my younger weirdos to like leave or anything I still appreciate all of you <3 but like.. idk.. I do have a scheme though that might help me branch more towards my people on other sites... I just have to wait and see what my parents say bc unfortunately I'm born from two people who aren't particularly fond of social media, let alone ME being ON IT. So we'll see. Like, I LOVE coming back to a TON of notifications, but I'd like them to be like... meaningful? If that makes sense, not just random kids literally saying nonsense in my comments.. :/ But yeah I just felt like I really needed to say something about that bc I keep thinking about it. So just.. to summarize. I have absolutely no issues (well a few but they're just little unimportant things) with most of my audience being younger kids, that's fine, that's who this platform is made for to be fair, but I would really like for some more people my own age to come in.. if that makes sense?? And again bc I didn't go too deep into it before, I am NOT a youth content creator, my content is 100% made for and intended to be viewed by teens. (and older I guess but why would grown people care about my little sketches lol) I do NOT make content for kids. I DO however, try to make content everyone CAN enjoy, even if they aren't the target audience (which is why I suspect so many younger kids are here in the first place..)
