SPOILER ALERT: READ THE CHAPTER FIRST The chapter starts with Blaire as a kitten {Approximately 4 moons (months) old} and her mother is telling her stories {The basic Warrior cats stories} The narrator narrates that "As a kitten, my mother would tell me stories" next panel it says "But one day..." Blaire and her mother are on a walk with their owner, and Blaire is struggling to take off her collar because she is not used to it yet. Blaire's mother is unsure, and says her name. Blaire succeeds in taking the collar off, and remarks that she was able to get it off. she runs into the street, telling her mom she is going home, and while she is in the middle of the street, a car is coming at her, she gets scared, and freezes, and her mother strains against her leash, and it snaps. Blaires mother also runs out into the street, and pushes Blaire away, and Blaire lands on the sidewalk, and calls out to her mother. it all goes to a black screen with "5 1/4 moons later" Blaire is sleeping in her home, with a small tear in her eye, and another cat pounces on her, and she complains, saying his name (Zack). They stare at each other for a few second, before Zack attacks her again, and they tumble around for a few seconds, before she comes out on top, pinning him, saying "Stop bothering me" and he responds with "You mean "Brother?"" Blaire turns away, saying "No, you are not my brother, Zack" to which he defends, saying "I'm your adopted brother. it's the same thing. she walks away frustrated, saying, "No, it's not." she then walks over to her food bowl, and remarks on how there is no food, and decides to just stick with water. after getting her drink, she walks away, sighing. she walks to the window, preparing to jump, and climbs onto the window sill. she stares out the window while Zack sneaks up on her, then he asks what she is thinking about, and she replies with "The clans" he states that they aren't real, and she says "How do you know? You don't have any proof, and my mom herself was a part of them!" Zack says "Yeah, but that was entertainment, not true stories! You were a kitten, it's fantasy" she turns away, thinking in her mind, they were indeed real, and then the prologue ends Have a good day Yall! God be with you!
