With the formation of the ad hoc partisan forces in Maryland, and their consideration as a useful asset for GLU and Pennsylvanian operations, they are reorganized and directly integrated into the JFC (Joint Force Command) as the NLF National Liberation Front. With Golden Circle forces cracking down on their own civilians, covert recruitment operations would begin, particularly targeting Maryland and West Virginia nationalists and others potentially within the Golden Circle military who feel dissatisfied with the government. In order to supply and train these guerrillas, we would resort to a variety of measures. Partisans can strip equipment off of dead enemies, even specifically organizing hit-and-run raids on police centers or small military outposts to steal arms and ammunition. We can also attempt to utilize corrupt or sympathetic local officials to sell military-grade equipment to partisan intermediaries, most likely civilians, who would then be able to drop off the equipment to partisans without having the partisans directly purchase equipment. That brings up the U.S.'s culture around gun ownership, which might allow us to buy guns from civilian distributors or private citizens who are sympathetic to our cause. We can also utilize small-scale, covert air drops to supply partisans with any heavy equipment, such as explosives, MANPADs, or anti-tank systems. Electronic warfare components can be purchased from civilian sources in unflagged quantities, often repourposing civilian drones or other equipment to suit our needs. If we are unable to supply them through those means, we might have to resort to sourcing arms and ammunition on the black market, though this is the last resort. To combat Golden Circle control of major highways and roads, and in an attempt to disrupt their logistics across the front, we can resort to mountainous tunnel warfare, creating large, sophisticated systems of tunnels, reinforced with corrugated sheet metal, featuring medical facilities, combat rooms, deep bunkers, and anti-gas and anti-flooding precautions. We would launch attacks on Golden Circle patrols or logistics convoys using a combination of IEDs and conventional anti-vehicle weapons to disrupt Golden Circle forces west of Appalachia by targeting key passes, bridges, and other chokepoints in the mountain passes where ambushes would be best. Most importantly, we will make sure never to fight or ambush from the same place twice, in order to create a feeling of unpredictability. In addition, we also make use of partisans for assassination work, targeting officers and other important figures in the Golden Circle chain or command, whether that be locally or across the entirety of the nation.
