Around the time of the second movie (before Robotnik and knuckles even find sonic but after they land on earth) shimmer gets captured by g u n and meets shadow, though she was kind to him and tryed to be as helpful as possible shadow never liked shimmer and never does, shimmer does grow fond of Maria after getting used to humans, after the fire g u n didn’t find shimmer a threat and let her go, she lived in a cave (like sonic) till around the end of the 2nd movie, where she finds volt (my friends oc who was also captured by g u n) and followers her around, till they come to meet sonic and shimmer reunites with knuckles. (That’s all for now we shall see about more backstory when the 4th movie comes out :3) -shimmers relationships Best friend: tangle Friends: tails, sonic, silver, knuckles, whisper Chill with: Espio, charmy, vector, Amy, blaze, Wishes to be friends with: volt (my friends oc), shadow Thinks of as family: knuckles Parents: star and vine Crush: silver
