1. sketch idk quick sketch i'll refine everything later 2. lineart ewww dont look 3. base colours + basic eye render design based off @how-random 's design. honestly it's a very generic design like idk man 4. basic render also inspired by @how-random . i tried to make the lighting less overwhelming, unlike i normally do. i was going for a style study and originally i wasn't intending to share but uhhhhh it's my most recent artwork and i have SDAS lol 5. overpainting dude oml this took so long ;-; i had to go over basically everything with a tiny brush and overpaint it 6. bg + gradients + reflective light + chromatic abberation not much to say here 7. just the overpaint so imagine you coloured in a bit of paper with a ballpoint pen, like this. now imagine you have to change the colour of your ballpoint pen every five strokes. and then you might have an idea of what i did ;-;
