*WARNING: LOUD SIREN SOUNDS | Viewer discretion is advised* AUTOCREDIT *DO NOT REMOVE*: Thanks to @TheBigMstone2018 for the original project and most of the art, @conpatch for the CG-411-B, @MoonageElevators5 and many YT enthusiasts out there for the audio of the sirens. Alright, so @SKred311 had reached out to me in the DMs 10 days ago about this unusual ACA Hurricane a distance away from some warehouse he/they built, that is very rare in the ENTIRE world (while the Milwaukee, WI one still stands as of today), that was on the main Stone City siren system before being taken out of service for approximately 30 years, back in the early 1990s. But now, that fellow had filed a request to the Stone City Emergency Department and the Charleston County EMA to put that back in service, which surprisingly they responded, and now THIS rare beast is living again. How loud will this sound, how would it sound, and after this test, how could we refurbish it to make it nice and shiny clean, and for its mounting style to meet up with today's standards? (blue metal pole, note, Tom Diener tribute sticker) We'll plan a way to do so, before doing it some time in mid 2027. In the meantime, let's watch it sound 3 minutes in "Alert" since its recent power hook up. Taken 10/21/2026. FACT: This siren is a few miles north of a Stone City town, "Hunters Edge," just miles east of the Town City Square city portion and Yellow Township, which the 2790 you've seen is in that town, right behind a strip mall there, nearby a theme park (that's Netflix themed, interestingly) 100 feet north of the new SCFD Station 91. SIDE NOTE: The DPR and the CG-411-B played "Schubert's Lullaby" as for the pre-test chime today.
Song played (through CG-411-B): Bark at the Moon - Ozzy Osbourne Siren Information: Brand: Alerting Communicators of America (ACA) Model: Hurricane 130 MKII Port Ratio: 8/10 port Volume: 130 decibels at 100 ft. Signal Used: Full Alert System: Stone City Emergency Department (Charleston County) Status: Active Extra Notes: Just been hooked back up to the system by @SKred311. Expected to be restored/refurbished, have it's Tom Diener tribute sticker on it's control box, and on a new metal (and hollow) blue pole with a hole for the blower tube to enter (would take time to shove a curved pipe into the metal pole, only to hook up to a Hurricane blower) with it's siren sounding notice sign below the boxes.
