Such a life he had planned for himself. He was going to become deputy someday. Maybe even leader. He was going to follow in his father's pawsteps. Make him proud. He was going to show all the other cats that he was worth so much more than just another UrchinClan kit. He was going to /be/ someone. He was going to live the life he had been so excited for. That he had been waiting for so excitedly for barely any time at all. Four moons. That was it. That was all he'd had. And now Clip was waiting on the rocky beach, surrounded by a pool of his own blood. He was dying. If he hadn't felt so at peace, he would have been terrified. But he wasn't. He was too tired to be scared. He knew how this would end. // He had been in his usual spot, on the moss covered rocks, counting the stars, since the sky had gone too dark to see the clouds anymore. And for once, the UrchinClan sky hadn't been overcast. And the stars, they were so beautiful. Eli should have known that it was his calling. His time to join them. // He wanted to kick and scream and cry for that. For how much he hated the stars for doing this to him. For ripping him away from his friends. For taking him from his family. But, again, he was too tired as his vision blurred and faded, to feel the pain of anything anymore. The pool of blood next to him didn't even faze him. The huge scar across his chest, given to him by the wolf no one had come to save him from gleamed red in the moonlight. The wolf had crept up and taken him from his home. His place on the rocks, where he could happily observe his Clan. // Something behind him grasped him with huge claws, pulling him deep into the shadows before he could even scream. At first, Eli thought it was fine. A warrior would come for him and save him from the wolf. But no one was there. And he was alone. Clip fought and thrashed and screamed and cried for help. But none came. The wolf finally left Eclipsekit for a reason he wasn't sure of. Though he was not unharmed. // His cream and black fur was stained red. So was the ground below him. Eli's vision blurred and faded into a blackness that he could barely see through. And it grew thicker and blacker with every passing moment. And suddenly he remembered Riddlekit. The brother he'd never known, and only wished he had. The thing that had made him feel so guilty for so long. He supposed it now meant nothing. He'd now be seeing his brother in StarClan, where they'd be spending the rest of eternity together. But the largest question on Clip's weakening mind had nothing to do with the afterlife. Would he even be remembered? His greatest mission in life was to be the charming, loved cat that everyone wanted to be a friend of? Would that be the legacy he'd leave behind? The one he really wanted to stay. No. He wouldn't. He wouldn't live long enough to see himself become that cat. Eli sucked in a sharp breath. And for a split second he was between worlds. The world of stars, where Riddlekit and all that had come before him now resided. And the world of life, that he was fighting so hard to stay in. He could feel the gentle feeling of the stars pulling his spirit away from his body. Separating him from the living world. "NO!" he tried to scream, but it was only a low gasp of pain. He fought the stars, fighting to stay alive. To stay with his father. Giltreverie. His sister. Hazekit. His friends. They would stay. They would finish their legacies. But Eli wouldn't. And he hated the stars for that. Even if, in the end, that was where he was going. He could feel their pull as they whispered. Beckoning him to leave his life behind. He was almost entirely lost to the stars. Eclipse could fight no longer. He breathed his final breath. This was his last moment of life. It was almost gone. And suddenly, it was entirely. [ ★ ] RPer Notes・ This was my very first Gens character who died to weekly kit. I guess my luck ran out with Eli, haha. But I am really disappointed that he's gone. I had an entire life planned out for him. I wanted him to become a strong, loved, and well-known warrior of UrchinClan. I wanted him to become a powerful cat and really do something important and meaningful with his life. I wanted a lot more for him then a death at the age of barely four moons. But, unfortunately, it is simply the system of Gens. I'm definitely going to miss Eli, though. He did have some real potential there. <3 [ He will be going to SC ] Copypasta・ [・★ ] [ (Gens) Hello. It seems that your cat (cats name) knew Eclipsekit of UrchinClan in life. Unfortunately, he has passed due to weekly kit. You can pay your respects here : ] [ ★・] [ ★・]
