her glassy eyes haunt me a beautiful girl with long, blonde hair striking, shining blue eyes an angel who was convinced she had no wings 'i'm so stupid ugly' 'just tell me my writing sucks' once she tried to tear her wings off herself. it didn't work, so she sat there crying on the cold bathroom floor I never knew why to me, her writing was the best i'd ever seen or will see her smile gave me a reason to wake up every day I tried to patch her wings how do you ‘fix’ someone who’s broken and perfect but we both knew she’d never fly again I hate that I knew it was true and it feels like betrayal and I know that she knows that I know I tried everything I know I did everything I could so why does she look at me like that? but i guess i'll never know and always wonder why her glassy eyes haunt me - yours truly, cal r scares me sometimes
