POV: Chika Chika was in the living room in her house on the island. “I received a letter today,” her father, Luon was saying. “It seems John has lost his wife. He’s very sad. He says he’s too busy to look after his two children properly, so he’s asking if they could spend their breaks, well, in other words holidays, here with us. What do you think, Rin?” “Hmm,” her mother thought. “Why not? We can teach them how to take the form of a cat, have them join the Clan and hunting party or patrols, and let them sleep here. The warriors’ den is a bit tight right now. Even Chi is sleeping in her room, saying it was tight! We do have two spare rooms, after all.” Chika listened half-heartedly. “Chika, make sure you get along with them.” “...Okay.” Luon sighed at Chika’s listless reply. “You know I’m not really good at getting along with people, Father.” “I suppose so...” Luon looked at his sullen daughter with a mix of exasperation and resignation. (...the chilly indigo catgirl) she thought to herself. That was the phrase Chika used to describe herself. “Well, that’s settled then!” Her Mother said brightly.
