Tw: There are some flashing lights Well, I think I may have gone a bit overboard with this one. Sooo, due date wise, is this still okay? The project says auditions closed an hour ago, but it’s still the 29th. Anyway, yeah. To celebrate Halloween, I thought I’d write a song about Frankenstein from the perspective of his eventual wife, Elizabeth Lavenza. Story: This song follows Elizabeth, Victor Frankenstein’s childhood friend. When he disappears to college with no contact for four years, his younger brother, William is found dead, the supposed culprit being Elizabeth’s best friend, Justine, framed by an antique locket in her possession. Upon Victor’s return, he insists on Justine’s innocence, but supplies no evidence in wake of her execution. Soon, he vanishes again, alongside his friend Henry, for six years, until Henry is found dead, Victor imprisoned for his proximity to the event. When he is released, he returns to Elizabeth, incredibly shaken and a shell of his former self. Elizabeth begins to make some connections, but before being able to get answers out of him, he proposes, which she accepts. On their wedding day, Victor quickly distances himself from her, and soon she discovers why - the monster Victor created seeks revenge for Victors refusal to make him a bride of his own. Lyrics: We grew up together Best friends forever Exactly where we wanted to be I studied biology Astronomy philosophy And never got bored cause you were there beside me Now you’re off to college To get yourself some knowledge And you’re leaving on the train tonight Make friends Have fun But don’t forget to write You’ve been gone for four years and everything’s gone wrong I’ve sent you letters upon letters with no reply Your brother dead Justine framed And we need you now Victor I am lost without you Victor Please come home You’re home We missed you It took you two months of travel but finally you’re here You’re home I love you But I can’t help the feeling that something is queer Why do you say what you say Why do you do what you do Why is your hair turning gray You’re just twenty two Why are your vacant eyes staring off to the side What are these secrets you hide You had all the evidence unless you lied But we’re silent as Justine was tried My love for you is still alive But how could you let her die We go on vacation For some relaxation But something about you is still oh so wrong You seem a little better You even read my letter But I lead the way while you stumble along You’re gone for six years And I cry for six years Oh what’s going on Victor What’s going on How’d your best friend die And why’s you serve jail time And why must you finish All that you set upon Why do you say what you say Why do your hands always shake Why is your hair turning gray You’re just twenty eight Why are your vacant eyes staring off to the side What are these secrets you hide Your countenance consumed by fear and pride Where were you when Henry died Where were you when all of them died Then you ask me to marry you Isn’t this what I always wanted Yes this is what I always wanted And I can’t go back Why do you say what you say Why do you do what you do Why are you running away I still love you Why are your vacant eyes staring off to the side What are these secrets you hide What have you done Victor What have you made Victor How many times have you lied Help me now Victor oh Help me now Victor please Do not forsake your bride Victor I’m terrified Anyway, hope you enjoy!
I remixed it to fix a few bugs
