The String Length Considerate Positionally Weighted Similarity Calculator, a variant of the PWSC algorithm, measures the similarity of two strings considering both their contents (at every substring level, thus including characters, morphemes, words, pairs, clauses, sentences, etc.) and their lengths. It includes, of course, all the features of the regular PWSC algorithm's function, and can be used for all the same purposes, but is orders of magnitude more accurate for cases where string length is varied. The SLC-PWSC is recommended over the regular PWSC for most typical cases, but is analogous when string lengths are fixed. As a string becomes larger than another string, it requires greater compositional similarity to achieve the same score; this reduces cases where a single especially common letter (E, T) might be recognised as a more similar string to a whole sentence than a similar sentence that doesn't contain the same distribution of characters.
