Korskburg, 1984 The Korskburg Police pull out King Karhl Wilham II from the Palace and bring him out before the angry city, and the bonfire before the palace. Tan Base, 2035 NAVE operatives who had kidnapped FM Pierre on his way back to the city bring him out before the Capital House to a jeering crowd and a bonfire. "Let go of me!" the foolish king and confused general shout. "Have you lost your minds? Unhand me at once!" "No," says a rebel, Derich Stiltz, to Karhl II. "Navalovia has had enough of your tyranny. Your father was a terrible ruler, the king we elected was slain, and your policies have failed us. Imperialism? War with the Republic? You are mad." "No," says a NAVE operative. "You have allowed your people to be oppressed by the Greens. Your should be fighting for democracy, and yet you and your predecessors failed us. Unity? Such a ignorant idea." "Why, Kahrl, are you surprised?" says Stilz. "Surely you didn't think the end to the civil war would fix this all. We have had enough of your wars, your ignorance." "Why, Pierre, are you surprised?" says the operative. "Surely you didn't think this civil war would unite Polymera? We have had enough of your weakness, of your ignorance." "And now?" they say, You will burn." Karhl is thrown into the bonfire, screaming. "Your ashes will bring forth a new dawn. For today, the Nave shall take full control of Navalovia. Raise the flag, men! For the kingdom is no more! Long Live the People's Republic!" NAVE operatives throw Pierre into- what's that sound? a...bugle? "GET DOWN! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" "By the Works, the Army!" thought Pierre. "La Victoire est à nous!" The military rips into the shocked NAVE officials with b0llets and grenades. "La Victoire est a nous!" The bonfire crowd runs, most are shot down. People emerge from their houses; the NAVE occupation, in Pierre's absence, is lited. "Saint-Phar, par son courage De la mort, du pillage" A sniper picks off the NAVE that are trying to replace the Tan flag on the Capital House. "Nous a délivrés tous!" The NAVE try to flee, however they are all killed or arrested by the Tan Army. Their organisation crumbles. You really thought you could bring back Democratic Kingdom of Navalovia? The monarchy failed, and the communists, in all due respect, failed too. The futile wars to gain fertile land to stop the famine, and it's poor relations with the Republic, the strongest nation in the world, sealed its fate. Seriously, like why did you (me) even try to invade them after Hiho fell? The nuking of Korskburg and Navalovia's annexation was inevitable as soon as Keliare fell. Those operatives didn't know this, of course, but it was always doomed to fail.
