I’m not quitting scratch but as you may of guessed from my lack of projects in the last year I barely come on here. I made this acc w some of my irl friends when we were in year 7 (uk) which is crazy that was 4 years ago. Then scratch was somewhere where we would upload weird coding projects and games we made in ict or at home, We were definitely iPad kids loll. Then going into year 8 we realised the social potential of scratch and bc we weren’t really allowed social media, scratch turned into it for us, throughout years 8 and early year 9 we made lots of online friends and took part in lots of communities and competitions. Now though almost everyone who we made friends with and chatted to no longer go on scratch so although I have 100+ followers most of them were last seen in 2024. Nowadays theres a whole new generation of scratchers and we kind of just go on here once in a while to check our accounts and messages and laugh at our old stuff. This is not me officially leaving, my 11 year old self who made this account knew I wasn’t going to be on scratch forever but this is more me having an excuse for late message replies and the incomplete 100 follower q&a which probably won’t be completed. It’s so crazy how I started this account when I was just starting secondary school and now I’m finishing full time education and I’m two 1/2 years away from finishing school altogether. I might add to this later.
