Hey there! This is my first project on this account, so I figured I'd make it for people who are newer to the series! ~The Basics of Mainline Games~ 1. All mainline games have 8 gyms that you must get badges from. To do this, you must defeat the leader in battle. Each gym leader also specializes in a specific type. In newer games, there is also a gym test you must beat to challenge the leader. 2. Some mainline games also have extra stuff. Like scarlet violet, where you have titans and team star bases. 3. Every mainline game has an "evil" team, who goes against the player. 4. After beating all 8 gyms, in all games except sword/shield, you battle the elite four. 5. After defeating all 8 gyms in sword/shield, you must battle all the gyms again, successfully defeat them again, and then battle the champion. 6. After beating the elite four, you can battle the champion. 7. In scarlet violet, there are more things to do. I'll list those next. ~Basics of Scarlet/Violet main story~ 1. The 8 gyms, as always. 2. Titan Pokémon. Pokémon that have grown giant due to eating a fictional herb called "Herba Mystica." This part of the story is called "Path of Legends." 3. Team star bases. Team star is the evil team of s/v, but you only battle them at their boss bases, which there are 5 of. This part of the story is called "Starfall Street." 4. After beating all 3 stories, you must venture into area zero. This part of the story is called "The Way Home." That's pretty much it! Hope this helps anyone who sees it :)
