- " greater jumping against the desert " - Seeing that Namibia has a Lack of Grasslands or farmland for that matter has Devised a plan to change this Plan etosh has Commenced. Now you may think "what is Project Etosh?" Plan Etosh - Plan Etosh is a Greenification plan to make the *mostly flat* Semi-arid Savannah lands of the North Into more Sub-tropical Savannahs or Grasslands (there's a small mountain range south of Etosha pan btw, I just didn't show on map), providing High yield potatoes and other Foods for the nation and fix its Geography issues, as well as making steps to make this stay Permanently for generations to come Stage I "Greater Lake Etosha" - Before we can even start in the Winden flatlands we need something to feed it, aswell as Provide water and ensure Droughts won't destroy the region, First step we'll do is Pave The part of the Cunene river that flows into The North parts of Etosha, because water seeps into the Bordering regions there isn't enough water to feed Etosha pan, hence the small amount it gets Turned into Salt in Evaporation, paving it would greatly help, now of course we will Create Two Main canals on both sides of the Newly Renamed River that splits off from the Cunene river (Zargen river basically) these Canals would be Regulated by Hydroelectric Dams which have small Desalination plants powered by the Hydroelectric Dam, There should be two main Hydroelectric dams that is set in the Entrance point of the Two Canals that Branch off in all directions after a certain point, The Hydroelectric Dams also Allow water to go through they can just Regulate it by closing or opening it, this Alongside *hopeful* Cooperation with Angolan Government and Local Tribes will help and Prevent unnecessary Spilling while also Producing a clear river where they can take water from, We will Crate "Zargen Dam" which will be the largest dam in the region yet, It will be again a Hydroelectric Dam that has a small Desalination plant that's powered by the Hydroelectric dam and it controls Inflow of the Newly renamed River "Zargen River", this would hopefully Power all of Northern Namibia or allow large Quantities of clean Energy to power Namibian Homes and German Homes or International ones aswell Now we got that part out of the way we need to Get rid of the salt and Make the Etosha pan actually able to sustain An Ecosystem and not overly salty Water, For this we'll Loosen restrictions on Mining/Scraping salt Temporarily in Etosha pan and the smaller salt pans around it, Allowing companies to 24/7 Mine/scrape this to their Hearts Desire, of course still some major regulations to make sure the Ecosystem around it doesn't get destroyed, by 2040 we hope Etosha Pan is ready to be a Lake, If that is true Greater Lake Etosha should be a thing by 2041/2042 Stage II " Winden Flatlands " - Once we have Secured another source of water (Zargen River, Greater Lake Etosha) we will Commence the rest of the plan, since we already Allocated 500M Euros/dollars to this we will start dis, we will use the "Half-moon" Solution which takes one human and one day to make one Half-moon, it Catches water and sorta is like a small pond, it also collects ded stuffs, Leafs, etc which is perfect to grow Trees or plants and it only takes a few months to already see some Results (links to this are: https://m.youtube.com/shorts/UX5HgmIqxaI https://m.youtube.com/shorts/WKrANHuWM8E go to Andrew millison for more information on these and how they work.) 10,000 Workers are Allocated to work here and make 10,000 Half-moons and whatnot each day, By 2045 it should be Significantly almost done and by 2050 we expect most or a Majority of the Regions in the "Winden Flatlands" to be Greenified. Stage III "Food" - Now every patch that is done would be Turned into Farms or well atleast a significant chunk of the Greenified Lands would be Turned into such, Since Potatoes are a good way of growing food in Semi-arid conditions and take low water & are Heavy crops to the stomach we will Primarily plant the BEST crops for the Climate such as Potatoes, The plan is to feed All of Namibia in this chunk (also best to say the Winden Flatlands, which I named are the size of Ohio if not larger so we can def feed allat) by 2050 we expect it to be More or less greenified or under Greenification, atleast 30% of dis be ready By 2060 this should be done fully If plan goes well we're gonna Allocate 5bn more and hire thousands more workers to speed it up
