An hour later: The two of them made their way to the Nightshade field, their hands in one another's with their fingers intertwined. The difference in their personalities was obvious. Azure walked calmly as he held the basket of food with his free hand while he watched Two Time who was skipping like they had finally felt free. It made Azure smile. Seeing his partner happy was the best thing he could ever want. “Here’s a perfect spot!” Azure said, setting down the basket and sitting down. Two Time was so lost in thought that they kept skipping, not even noticing they stopped holding hands. Azure laughed. “Timey! Over here.” He called out between laughs. They finally snapped out of thought. Their face turned slightly red from embarrassment due to Azure laughing. “Stop laughing..! I…I was thinking ok.” They sighed as they quickly jogged to where Azure sat. “Sorry, sorry. It was funny, "he smiled. Two Time’s eyes lit up. He was so beautiful and perfect. They hadn’t noticed they’d been staring til’ Azure spoke up. “Two Time? Are you ok..?” “Huh!? Oh, yeah…sorry. I’m fine, you’re just so perfect.” They said without realizing it. Azure faced flushed red. He quickly covered his face before they could notice him flustered. “Y-you can’t say things like that!” Two Time turned their head in confusion before they realized. “Oh! Ah, sorry. That just came out T^T” They whined in embarrassment of what they had said. After that “I forgot how good your baking was!” Two Time said, taking a bite out of the cookie Azure prepared for the special evening. “It’s my speciality, I guess.” He smiled like he had accomplished something big. They rolled their eyes. The sun began to set. The sunlight gleaned off of Two Time’s face. They were so pretty. Azure thought. It was a perfect sight and soon to be perfect day if they said yes.
