there's more so i'll add it in like a part two idk man This is a story about my ocs, Nyxi and Allouete. While there are other characters, it is mainly focused on Nyxi. Before reading, please keep in mind this story may include themes of: depression, abus3, unaliving of themselves, (sort of) detailed descriptions of a d3ad body, and blood. If I forgot anything, please let me know! If these are things that bother you, please consider clicking off. Take care of yourself and your mental health. At the end of the day keep in mind that these are reflections of things that CAN happen in real life, though it is not real and is purely fiction. Enjoy reading twin :3 Air blew in from the open window, bringing a chill into the room. It was quiet. Nyxi lay in her bed, staring up at the ceiling. After recent events, it felt too difficult to go to sleep. What had she done wrong? What could have she changed? Questions like these constantly plagued her mind, but she knew that it was useless. Useless thinking about it. Useless . . . even existing anymore. Every single day started and ended the same. She knew that just sitting around wasn’t going to change anything. And yet, she couldn’t feel the need to change it at all. And even if there were something to change, why would it matter? It wasn’t going to change the fact she was gone. Someone she had loved so dearly. Why couldn’t she have just noticed sooner? Why did she have to be so blind to the signs? She sighed loudly. The room felt too quiet now. It always did. But there was a time it wasn’t. When they used to sit and talk to each other for hours on end without caring about the time. And somehow the conversation never ended. It never got boring. But now? Sitting through just a five minute conversation felt like a chore. She really couldn’t care less about the other person's problem. Of course no matter what she was doomed to think about it later on and feel guilty. Her mind filled with images of her body lying in front of her, blood splattered on the floor. The stench of the blood making her gag. The memory of when she threw herself on the floor and desperately checked her pulse, only to feel her cold, lifeless body. There was no life. Only the remnants of what used to be a person. “Allouete.” Her throat tightens. No. No, no. Not again. She swallows hard, trying to keep it together. She struggles to get up as she stumbles over to the light switch. Halfway there she trips on something she can’t see and falls to the floor with a thud. The energy feels like it's been drained from her body. Though in the dark, with the only light coming from the crack under her door, she notices her vision starting to blur. A sharp pain stabs through her but she felt too numb to be able to distinguish where it was coming from. Her side, maybe? This wasn’t what she would have wanted for her. Right? Memories flooded through her head shamelessly. The good, the bad. Unforgettable. She reached out her hand and tried to grab what seemed like nothing. Is this really what dying feels like? Then . . . I guess– “Nyxi? Nyx. Are you alright?” Nyxi blinked. “Huh? Oh. Yes.” Looking beside her she noticed her friend, Elliot, wearing a concerned expression on his face. “You kinda just . . . spaced out. It was creepy, haha. Staring at nothing . . .” Nyxi narrowed her eyes. “Yeah. Cool.” She huffed, picking up her bag and swinging it over her shoulder. “I’ve gotta head. I’ll see you later.” “But–” “I said I've got to go.” Without another word she walked away. She pulled out her phone and opened messages. “Are you still coming?” “Of course. Just left Elliots.” “Cool! Cya then.” “Yeah.”
