Tell me what you think! ______________________________________________________________ Memories | a poem Memories are things that drift, along the waves of our hearts. They seem prominent for a while, and then we forget them. Yet they are always there, waiting to be called upon again. A simple trigger, a scent or a sight, will call them back out of their dusty homes. They remind us of what has passed, The people who are long since gone. Times in our lives we cherish, and grieve over. When we are finished with them, they slip through our fingers, unnoticed, yet again. But they are always there, waiting.... ~Lulu~
