Welcome to the Scratch Automotive Community! We are a community that values car artwork, specifically fictional cars. ———————————————— Rules 1.) To reach the highest ranks in the Scratch Automotive Community, we value interior design of the chassis, engine, transmissions, etc, and exterior designs. - 1b.) We also allow cars with basic quality, but it must have at least feel like a proper car. 2.) We also value proportions. Proportions make a car look like a proper car. If your car doesn’t have proper proportions, it does not meet SAC requirements. 3.) We respect all styles of artwork. No matter how we draw, we are still all artist and designers in the works. 4.) No stealing parts without credit. As seen with some users, like @nausicaa23, we rather give proper credit, instead of saying, “C2A”. Make sure to say the username and the specific item you used for your projects. 5.) Artwork only please. ———————————————— Rankings Factory Rank - This class belongs to the highest tier of car drawers: Privateer Rank - This class is the bridging gap between the lowest and highest tier of car drawers: - @Vang_Motors Grassroot Rank - This class is the lowest tier of car drawers, where your artwork is exceptional among the developing car artists: (None) ———————————————— Governing system The Scratch Car Community values in fair, equal, objective, and democratic governing. To protect artist from inconsistent judging, we value these things: 1.) No Blind Verdicts - Every applicant that are accepted or declined will receive an explanation on their submission on why the person was ranked into that certain rank. 2.) Full-Vehicle Review - Every applicant will have their cars fully and throughly reviewed. A car with high effort in interior and low quality exterior-and vise versa-will not always be handed the highest rank. 3.) Panel Rank Appeal - Every applicant will have a chance to appeal the decision given by the Board of the Scratch Automotive Community. Your voice will always be heard. 4.) Earned, not given - Every applicant, no matter the status, will be given a rank on how their cars from their application is drawn and how they have improved. It is not by how the person has acted and if the person is related to the BSAC. 5.) Promotion and Demotion - Every member of the Scratch Automotive Community can be promoted or demoted, based on their drawings and development. If you have dropped your drawing skills, you can tell us why and we either keep you or we demote you. It works the other way around, where if you start to get better and climb out of the rank you currently are in, you can get promoted into the next rank. ———————————————— The President Every time the current president stops being on Scratch, wants to step away from Scratch permanently or wants to step away from the Scratch Automotive Community, we will hold an election. Election The election will be based on the decision of the Board of the Scratch Automotive Community. The President must win at least half the votes to become President. When this happens, the current President must make the new President the current curator of the Scratch Automotive Community. Role of the President The role of the President cannot be changed. They will be the adviser of the Scratch Automotive Community and will guide the community in the direction they want it to move in. They can change only the Rules of The Studio and no further change can be made else where. The President will also be the one to talk to applicants who are applying for a rank.
