The high-score hunter: Driven entirely by leaderboard glory. They will spend hours and hundreds of tokens on a single classic cabinet like Pac-Man or Galaga just to stamp their three initials at the top of the screen. The fighting guru: Found exclusively at Street Fighter, Tekken, or Mortal Kombat cabinets. They have complex button combos completely memorized, bring their own custom arcade stick, and welcome any challenger who drops in a coin. The rhythm mastery: The absolute star of Dance Dance Revolution or MaiMai. They clear maximum-difficulty tracks without breaking a sweat, often drawing a literal crowd of onlookers to watch their perfect timing. The nostalgia tripper: An older gamer who wanders around looking for the specific games of their youth. They spend more time reminiscing about the pixel art and sound effects than actually trying to win. The button masher: Usually a casual player or a younger kid who chooses characters based entirely on looks. They survive purely on chaos, slamming every button at once and occasionally beating the experts by sheer unpredictability. The social butterfly: They do not care about the games at all. They are just there because their friends are there, leaning against a cabinet, chatting, and holding everyone else's snacks. The ticket farmer: A mechanical mastermind who ignores video games entirely to target redemption machines. They know the exact physics and timing required to hit the jackpot on coin pushers or drop-ball games to walk away with miles of tickets. The claw-machine mentalist: They possess an eerie, almost supernatural understanding of crane claw strength and physics. They can spot a rigged machine from a mile away and only strike when a prize is perfectly positioned. The speed runner: They treat arcade games like a race against the clock. They know every glitch, skip, and optimal path to beat side-scrolling beat-'em-ups like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or The Simpsons in record time. The simulator junkie: Only interested in games with physical, immersive setups. You will find them locked into the moving seats of racing simulators, piloting virtual giant mechs, or holding the plastic rifles of mounted light-gun shooters like Time Crisis. The rage-quitter: (well you already know) The Token economist: The hyper player who carefully budgets their allowance or gaming card. They calculate the play-time-to-cost of every machine to they get the absolute value out of every single dollar.
honestly i would be that guy "i have no idea what i'm doing :D" - "HOW IS THIS GUY BEATING ME WHILE PUSHING EVERY SINGLE BUTTON" -
