Atlantic longfin squid (Doryteuthis pealeii) egg mop I found on a trip to Maine in 2025.
Since these are washed ashore, they probably didn’t make it, unfortunately. :-( I’ve had this photo saved for forever but I only recently figured out they were squid eggs!
