(Fictional Chinafake)
I was on vacation and I went to a Flea Market near the place I was staying at. I found this guy there and I immediately knew it was DongFeng because of the face, the seller had a TON of various diecast cars and other toy cars. The seller had this and another random bump & go car, I bought them both. The seller wanted $30 for them, but I was able to talk him down to just $15. I couldn't actually test this guy until I got home, so that was annoying. It didn't move at all when I tested it, eventually I was able to get the motor spinning again but it made this horrible screeching sound, so I just replaced the motor and it works fine. This has a very unusual mechanism, it goes around with the bump & go for a bit and then the peg at the front goes down just enough to stop the bump & go wheels from touching the ground and the hood opens, then the hood closes and the peg goes down all the way and the motorized wheel at the back touches the ground and it spins around like it's doing a donut. I really like the chip this guy has, it's really unique! It also looks really cool too, I like how DF gave him a confident expression. The model number is 8085A, which implies that there are variants of this, so hopefully I can get my hands on them someday, it also implies that this came before Excavation Crew since that is 8762 and Street Challenger is 8085, but I'm not entirely sure. Overall a very good item and I do like it a lot!
