ℳasterpice. ✏ ORIGINAL SONG BY @linamakesmusic The lead single off my album, "LINA." Hi sgtx! I'm so excited to be entering this competition! The talent I'm entering with is singing! I wrote this song because I struggle a lot with not being myself due to expectations my parents put on me. I did NOT make the instrumental, and I do not claim it. I would love to make my own instrumental one day, so I'm currently training myself on guitar :P. This song means a lot to me because it lets me express how I feel through the power of music, something I've always found important. I'm honestly a huge people pleaser, so I used the metaphor of painting. I have constantly let others pick out colors for me and decide what I get to be, but with this song, I'm breaking out of that shell and becoming my own "masterpiece". Or being myself! Hopefully everyone enjoys!
