May be disturbing for younger ages... Since the destruction of Krox, tensions have eased in Mothron. Just kidding, they haven't! Well, it isn't actually very funny, for tensions have by no means ended. I mean, I kind of urged Ambronia that while I would allow their attack, I didn't suggest it. Here is why: The whole rebellion of Almushtari was based on one thing. Revenge. Avenging the 2 million "saints" who were oofed in 2030. Not every person who joined Almushtari or supported him were fully Sogranist, in fact, some were just close relatives and friends of those who were oofed. And what has the destruction of Krox accomplished? The destruction of Almushtari's governmnet? Yes! It has indeed destroyed the last remnants, but there is one thing Ambronia did not consider. Those millions of people oofed, they may just be numbers to Ambronia and the rest of the World, but over a million were completely innocent. Following the destruction of Krox, a loud wail erupted from across the nation of Mothron, for the destruction of their loved ones. For 7 days millions across the nation fasted, and they gnashed their teeth in their misery. Following the fall of Krox, many things have happened. First, is that hundreds of thousands who had been promised peaceful lives are now packing their bags. To where? Anywhere but the accursed land where nuclear war is rampant, and where promises are broken even by saints. I mean, the people had trusted Mothos, but he had broken their trust. Though the King and the Prince have made tremendous efforts to undo the damage, that does not fix the issue of the heart. It does not magically make millions of people trust their monarch again, and as the children of Israel who left Egypt, they began to desire the days when Sogran ruled. For even in the days of Sogran, there was no nuclear war, or high taxes. They forgot the evil of the regime, and thousands of Christians (possibly far more) have departed from the churches to create graven images of Sogran. The tragedy of this whole situation is that in the eyes of the people, the Sogranists have gone from monsters to victims, and more than ever it seems that a coup may happen. Attempting to ease tensions, the Prince who is acting as King while his father recovers is lowering taxes, in an attempt to satisfy the people. But it is not enough, for trust indeed cannot be regained so easily. You may be weeping at this moment, or full of despair at the turn of events. But there is good news my friend, that we should never forget. We have a weapon that the Sogranists do not have, one far more powerful than any nuke, or any biological warfare or disease. It is a weapon that can devastate and yet heal at the same time. That weapon is mercy, a force more powerful than any nuke, a word far more lasting than radiation. Meanwhile... Now it came to pass that Prince Samuel summoned an old Monk from Trog to his presence, Father Rahma. Old Rahma bowed in respect, as the Prince sat upon his throne. "Why is it old friend, that I hear you are moving to a house close to the slums of Trog, where Sogranist gangs dwell? Are you not a millionaire, one who could afford a mansion far greater than the tiny house you have bought for yourself, in such a dangerous sector of the city?" the Prince asked. "My Prince," Rahma replied. "I am well along in years as you know, for I have fought for 30 years on the battlefield, to save our nation from the Sogranists. But in all my years, I have learned that there is more to life than war, for I fear my good friend, that we have forgotten the most powerful weapon of all. Mercy." "Mercy?" the Prince asked. "What are you getting at Father?" "I have intentionally moved near to the Sogranists so that I may make the gospel of Christ evident to them." Rahma replied. "After all, why should I not use the wealth the LORD has blessed me with for the poor?" "But Father I must object," the Prince replied. "The Sogranists are monsters, and I do not want to see you get hurt." "No." Rahma countered. "The Sogranists are not monsters. We have forgotten that the Sogranists are indeed like us, for they are not monsters, but actual people with the same emotions we have. They have lives and their own personalities, and they have struggles. Lost they are for certain, but monsters? Certainly not! Did not God call us to a life of love and compassion? In our anger at injustice, we ourselves have made mistakes." The Prince was silent. Rahma continued. "My good, good, friend." Rahma replied. "It is clear to all the World, is it not? The Sogranists and Ugs keeping coming back, even after full scale invasions and wars? The threat of nuclear war does not scare them, for they delight in using nukes themselves. "Has stuffing all our prisons to the brim with Sogranists been the best course of action? Has that been merciful, to stuff them all in prison?"
Me for art Pixabay for music A bit too lazy to make new art sob From Instructions: "I suppose not." the Prince sighed. "You are indeed right Rahma, for we have indeed forgotten true mercy. But how can we forgive the wicked for their sins? Can we be blind in the face of justice?" "Certainly not!" Rahma replied. "But oofing 24 Sogranists a day is not justice. It is simply revenge. No wonder the Sogranists feel as if they cannot be blind in the face of justice." These last words had a profound effect on the Prince, and he looked straight in the eyes of Rahma. "Oh Rahma, what would our nation do if we lost you to those slums?" the Prince asked. "What does losing me have to do with mercy?" Rahma asked. "I can be lost, but the LORD cannot. Do not, I urge, cause more suffering for them, even if they oof me. May the LORD forgive them unconditionally if such a thing were to happen!" The Prince marvelled at the words of Rahma, and he made no more objections. So Rahma returned to his new home, and he made his first trip to the slums. He spoke no sermon demanding repentance like so many before him had. Instead, he simply brought bread for the hungry, and water for the thirsty. The Sogranists were too stunned at the boldness and kindness of Rahma to lay a hand on him. This Monk was far different than any Christian they had faced, than anyone they had faced in fact! So the Sogranists let Rahma continue his activities, and some came even to believe. And Rahma forgave them unconditionally. So despite national tensions, there is indeed hope for redemption. I urge you, all around the World. Pray for Mothron. Pray for its people, for we are a people in the midst of darkness, lost in a storm of grief and wrath. Pray that our people find peace. Pray that we find the Great Light.
