Today, while I was walking home, I noticed several police cars and felt curious, so I decided to follow them to an intersection. There were about ten police cars and three paramedics on the scene, along with a small crowd of officers surrounding a man whose pants had been pulled down. He had a large white cloth on his upper thigh, just below the hipbone. It felt surreal, and I overheard that the man might have been shot in the stomach. Witnessing it was really scary. At first, one of the police officers was holding a curved shield. The store next to the scene had closed one exit and opened another that had been closed for about four months due to construction.
