Hi! 1. Your sketch First of all- it’s such a good concept! And the hands are super well drawn :D!! The only things that I noticed anatomically might be that the arms are a little bit too long? When standing normally, your finger tips should reach mid-thigh area. If we try unfolding the yellow sketched character’s arm, it reached just a little further. Another thing I noticed might be the position of the eyes/nose/etc, but it’s a stylistic choice, I normally put them, a little bit more down than the middle of the face. 2. My draw-over Here’s a small draw-over on your drawing. Ignore the fact that I was too lazy to draw the hands properly :P There’s nothing much to comment here as it’s mostly my stylistic choices 3. Change in composition Okay. Your composition was cool and I don’t know the relationships between the characters, I’ll just tell you what I thought while changing the composition. First of all, the yellow sketched character is the main focus of the piece, and she sees that everyone’s heart is being broken. The blue sketched character is slightly anxious (I didn’t realise that she had another expression while drawing over sorry ><). The purple sketched character is crying, and I put her a little bit in the back because I personally find it hard to know when someone is sad. People usually hide it, that’s why I put her in the back. It might be cool to try drawing less attention to her or the inverse. And in the back, the blue sketched character, I put her as the antagonist (sorry if it wasn’t the case) that holds a grudge against the main character. Since now, there’s a space on the top left, I put the hanging things there. 4. Lightning choice discussion I thought that if it’s the yellow-character’s fault that all this happened, (like a fracture in a friend group, etc) we could put the light coming from the front, as if the spot light was hitting her. Another idea could be a spotlight on her, etc. Things to keep in mind: The positions of the characters (close or apart, etc) tells their relationships The position of the light source tells a story! Overall: I really found your idea very interesting! I can’t wait what kind of piece you’ll cook! >:D lmk if you want clarifications on smth!
